Long ago and far away lives the ghost of we,
A joyful laugh, a warm embrace, a faded memory.
Long ago and far away lives a dream of us two,
Where I waited daily with dinner made for you.

Long ago and far away my heart merged with yours,
Before the dreaded day when you then became hers.
Long ago and far away I waited lonely all alone,
Sitting all by myself staring at the silent phone.

Long ago and far away the destiny of us has died,
Where once a golden future ended as they cried.

Suddenly I Realize

Suddenly I realize the passion in your embrace,
Engulfing me in paradise in my favorite place.
The gleam in your eyes reflecting love divine,
The warmth of our heart knowing all will be fine.

Suddenly I realize the loyalty of my one true love,
Angelic wings that protect with strength from above.
A soft voice that assures me when life throws me curves,
A gentle presence that teaches me the ducks and swerves.

Suddenly I realize the divine being dropped in my lap,
When synchronicity brings to me a benevolent life map.
And a pure soul that ignites our love from simple lust,
And I know our love is built around patience and trust.

A Second Chance

When will this be over and our paths will never cross?
The months of bitter anguish just multiply my lose.

The pain in my heart that seems to get louder each day,
As I hold up my head remembering how you looked that way.

It's your smile that gives sunshine that brightens the sky,
The sweet, warm embrace we share each day we say good-bye.

I wish that God answered my prayer - I pray for one more night,
For You to be given a second chance to make this work out right.

The Butterfly Will Fly Away

Hiding in the cocoon hidden from the cold night,
Only God above can make this all work out right.
But he is too far away from our life to even listen,
Walking in a tunnel to complete this divine mission.

The butterfly will fly away off to a new haven of rest,
Enmeshed in a holy journey meeting the best of the best.
And these dark days and morbid nights, gone from memory,
Where God will guide us daily in our path of pure destiny.

Praying on Both Knees

Hiding in the forest lost among the trees,
Purity of thought in praying on both knees,
Crying out in pain for the twist of this fate,
Once lost in true love, but now it is too late.

Above the God of thunder crashes in the dark storm,
Only memories of her one true love to keep her warm.
Intrigued by the passion of his attention at first,
Being a prisoner in his life ... from best to worst.

Divine Guidance

For once my heart was open and the love came pouring in,
For once I met a real man who was a knight among all men.
His laughter was like sunshine that made my heart sing,
His eyes touched the depths of my soul making him a king.

Pure light is a true beacon that calls to our love divine,
Trusting him was easy with actions to believe we were fine.
Never had a worry, never had a doubt it was not meant to be,
That God had divinely guided this link in our life destiny.

I wrapped my heart around his and the love continues to grow,
With a passion so fiery hot it melts the ice into liquid snow.
What a treasure this holy grail has brought into nights & days,
I will love him eternally with the brightness of sunshine rays.

Heavenly Desire

My sweet love you are joy in every waking breath,
Life in each caress, I'll love you to the death.

Each night I lay my head down to fall asleep,
You are in my dreams with a passion so deep.

The spiritual connection that ignites with fire,
Fills my heart and soul with heavenly desire.

Forever and ever our souls will never part,
Lost in God's affinity within our one heart.
