I hear your heart call for me,
Why do you torment my mind?
Am I not free to live?
Why is your sorrow mine?
You thought that it would stop?
You believed the memories would leave?
For someone so intelligent you just
Haven't figured out the mystery yet.
Part of the path is letting ego go,
The lesson to listen to our heart.
The intelligence to embrace our soul.
The courage to face our dangerous love.
Keep running and the message comes in your dreams,
Keep escaping and the loathing crawls in your brain.
Peace in all ways is the answer to the intense fear,
Love is the holy grail we all seek, our greatest quest.
