Your Angelic Face

The reason I stay here is I believe in us,
I believe in the future without any fuss.
You may not understand what a treasure you are,
But I know the truth, you're the best by far!

You are my heart beat, the love of my fantasies,
The one I believe in, who holds my minds' keys.
Whatever it is about you, I really can't express,
I've had a strange longing, from the first, I confess.

The light in your soul is a beacon to mine,
As long as I'm with you, I know I'll be fine.
We do not have to share a true lovers embrace,
Just as long as I can look on your angelic face.

Your unforgettable smile, is my daily goal,
Your laugh is stamped permanently in my soul.
For wherever you go, whatever you may do,
You will never know a day that I don't love you.

I'd Live in Your Heart

I wish I was pretty,
I wish I was smart,
I wish I was amazing,
Then I'd live in your heart.

I'd love to be taller,
I'd love to be braver,
I'd love to be sweeter,
Then you'd want me & not her.

I want to be more happy,
I want a life with content,
I want a man to love me,
One whose "heaven sent".

If only you would notice,
If only you would care,
If only for a moment,
The intensity of my stare.

If only I could hold you,
If only for a short talk,
If only you would listen,
We could take a long walk.

If only I had met you,
If only you had met me,
If only for a second,
would be an eternity.

If I was part of your soul,
If I was part of your heart,
If I was part of your mind,
Then we could make a start.

You are part of my dreams,
You are a prayer each morning I wake,
You know that I would tell you,
But there's way too much at stake.
