Dreaming From my Heart

Laying my head on my fluffy pillow for a short slumber,
Dreaming of our perfect love too many nights to number.
Remembering the sweet reunion as I drift off to dream,
You are miles away in a different cosmic world it seems.

When your arms wrap around me filling me with content,
Kissing my forehead and cheeks as sweet as it is meant.
My heart melts in loyalty, our bond is true and chaste,
While my clothes fall off in a furry of lovers' haste.

I love the way your clear eyes sparkle as they look my way,
An enchanting memory I keep with me throughout each day.
And as the sunlight wakes me with your dazzling smile,
I smile inside knowing I'll be with you in a short while.

In Silence

If there is a chance meeting my body gives me away,
My stomach flutters quietly with the words we say.
My heart opens wide, the walls come crashing down,
My cheeks glow with heat whenever he comes around.

Looking down from above did he ever really realize.
My souls complete allegiance as I looked into his eyes.
In silence the sadness of a broken bond rips apart
The pure spiritual union that joins our true heart,

The great loves are hard to love, hard to forget,
The explosion at the end just when life is set.
Memories that chill to the core of our very being,
Enchantment at first then the love of never seeing.

The silence is a gift from the echoes of yelling,
Closing the vault on true love, never ever telling.
Relief from the verbal castration of the demon seed,
Closing our eyes at night away from souls cold need.

Praying each night that our hearts will at last mend,
Writing letters and texts we know we will never send.
