A Thousand Cries

Inside of me there is a hurt that lives through a thousand cries;
The torment wondering if it's the last I'll look into your eyes.

Your body is broken and beaten the grasp for life in each breath,
A machine to breathe life into you or surely you'd meet your death.

How sad you must feel being stripped of all freedom of being alive,
Your heart and soul are giving up and I don't know if you'll survive.

My best friend, the father of my children, my one true love in life,
I thank God for giving me the eternal honor of being your revered wife.

The Sweetest Sound

The sweetest sound I ever heard,
Was when you spoke your 1st word.
The day you stood up and walked,
Was as exciting as when you talked.

The way you said my name and smiled,
Made all heaven and Earth reconcile.
The love in my heart grew and grew,
Since the 1st day that I met you.

Gratitude of Life

The gratitude of meeting the other half of me,
Opening up my heart and creating my destiny.
The oneness that I feel when he is very near,
Cuts through every barrier & often ends in fear.

Although it's never shown,I know we read each mind.
As I hear our thoughts first,then respond in kind.
He was everything I hoped for, every thing I dreamed,
We were destined to move mountains not what it seemed.

Divided in our lives as we walk the narrow way,
Waiting for the revelation we will have some day.
Sitting in silence praying for my soul to be true,
Prayer & inspiration guide our life until we're two.
