Freedom to Love
Freedom to love again, freedom to trust,
Run away as fast as I can, if I truly must.
Freedom to search the Earth for my twin soul,
Syncing with his pure heart my everlasting goal.
Freedom to go where I want, do whatever I please,
To pray dear God in exaulted praise on my knees.
Freedom to laugh at jokes, cry at a sad movie,
To break the chains around my life that bind me.
Freedom to look in your eyes and tell you the truth,
To give the joy of gratitude I cherished in my youth.
Freedom to open my heart to whomever knight I chose,
Knowing deep in my true heart that I can never lose.
